 Do you build right hand drive cars? Currently, we do not, but some countries such as England, Australia and Japan, have imported Mustanges with right hand drive. It is possible that if you were to purchase the right hand car to begin with, and have it sent to us, we could at that time do a right hand drive. This could also have a second benefit; your car will already be registered and owned by you in that country. Can I register this car in my country? It is our understanding that the Ford Mustang can be imported into nearly every country in the world. There are some countries that have special compliance, but this can be addressed at that time. Also keep in mind, that it is possible to buy the Mustang in your country and have it shipped to us to do the conversion. Will the car pass our country’s emissions? The car will pass California emissions with no problems. California happens to have the strictest emission controls in the world. Can I choose my own colours? Yes, you can choose any exterior colour. Interior colours come standard, with a black or dark grey interior. Yes, we can do different colour interiors, and there might be a small up charge to have this done. How long would it take to get a car if I order one? We try and keep a six car floating inventory. It will depend on when you order, what you expect for colour and performance, as to how fast you will get one. We are just bringing on several dealers which may slow some things down. Do you sell any kits? No, we don’t. It is just impossible, without certain jigs, for someone to build a kit. Secondly, because this is a limited production run, with our cars having a customer registry, we are trying to keep it exclusive to these customers. Will I be able to buy parts if my car gets damaged? Yes, of course. All our customers will have parts at any time available for the time of the production and ten years after. How can I get my car serviced or looked after? Because of the way our car is designed, this car can be serviced at any Ford dealership in the world. You can pretty well go to any mechanic shop and get it serviced. The car is very inexpensive to look after. You could put a quarter-million miles on the car, and not spend much on service. This was important to us. Has Exclusive Motor Cars Ltd. been around very long? Exclusive Motor Cars has been around for nearly 20 years. They have helped many major after market car companies and has produced many different models over the years. We have over 30 years experience in the automotive industry and have won many awards and have been in many magazines. Would you consider any dealers? We are currently considering two more dealers, and would like to have a dealer in Europe. What is your body made from? Our body is a combination of vacuum infused and hand laid up fibreglass composite. We use the best gelcoats and the best resins. We do use some carbon fibre in certain structural areas. We get the best panels because of our strict lay up procedures. Does the car come standard or automatic? The car comes in both options. We prefer to see them done in automatic. The car is smoother and is more refined to drive. We also find that the car is ultimately faster off the line, and better on gas. How many cars are you building? We are building a 200 limited car production. With currently only have 160 cars available, as time changes, obviously, there will be none. How do you like to be paid for the car? This would be best answered speaking to Mark. It will depend where we are in the production line and what your special needs are. Would you pay for my flight tickets if I came to see the car? Yes, if you buy a car. How much will it cost to ship the car to me? Of coarse, it will all depend on where you are In the world. The maximum your shipping costs would be is about $2,000 to the nearest city. Please keep in mind, if you were next door to us, it would cost you nothing. But you can expect that it won’t be more than $2,000. How close is your car to the original James Bond car? Very close.  |
